This is the first book I have read by Elizabeth Goddard, and I found it very enjoyable, it moved fast, the characters were crisp and clear, even the dingy ones, like Polly’s mother.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a classic mystery novel.

You do not want to miss this book. Susan Sleeman has once again shown that she is a gifted author.
