Ginny Aiken

January 9, 2011 By The Suspense Zone

Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Valencia and Caracas, Venezuela, Ginny Aiken discovered books early. She wrote her first novel at age fifteen while she trained with the Academia de Ballet Clasico Venezolano de Nina Novak. She burned that tome when she turned a “mature” sixteen. Stints as reporter, paralegal, choreographer, language teacher, and retail salesperson follo

wed. Her life as mother of four sons and herder of their many friends brought her back to books and writing in desperate search of her sanity. She’s now the author of more than forty published works. Ginny lives with her husband of forty years in northwest Indiana, and they’re the grandparents of three amazing young men.
