Q: How long have you been writing and what other careers or jobs have you had?
A. I’ve been writing all my life, but seriously since about 1997. I first wrote children’s stories, devotionals, greeting cards, poetry, and magazine articles, then switched to novellas and novels. I’m trained as an accountant, and have worked as a bank teller, a loan collection officer, and managed an accounting department in a law firm and an advertising agency. Q: How long have you been writing and what other careers or jobs have you had?
A. I’ve been writing on and off, full and part time, for much of my adult life, with an extended period of writing screenplays for feature film. I’ve been writing novels exclusively since retiring from my professional career in investments management – and loving it!

A: Honor Among Outcasts centers on a Southern abolitionist
Q: How long have you been writing and what other careers or jobs have you had?
A. I’ve been writing since 2007. When my oldest grandson was born, I quit my administration position to stay at home and watched him while my daughter worked. Ten years later another grandson was born. I’ve continued to keep my grandson around his school schedule, and write novels and articles.

Q: Let me start with asking you to tell us a little bit about yourself.
A. I lived in 4 different states before I settled in Texas, where I began my teaching career. From an early age my mother inspired me to learn all I could about the world around me. As an adult, I’ve loved learning about new cultures and I’ve been lucky enough to travel to several different countries. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember
