Q: How long have you been writing and what other careers or jobs have you had?
A: I’ve been writing for publication for over forty years. Amazing, to think it’s been so long. I was working as a secretary and PA before that, in various sales organizations. I always knew I could write but I had to go out and earn my living, and discover something about the world before I could produce anything worthwhile.

Q: Let me start with asking you to tell us a little bit about yourself.
A. I’m a wife, mom, almost grandma, animal lover and have written 40 books.
Q: When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
A. In fourth grade. My teacher was surprised to find me more interesting on the page than in person. (I was in my shy stage.)

Q: How did you get your start writing fiction and what genre do you predominantly write in?
A. I started writing for Barbour Publishing’s Heartsong Presents line, back in the mid-2000’s. They were a great publisher to start with, and I learned so much from the editorial process. While those books were romance, I always tried to slip in some kind of mystery/suspense thread because that was what I really enjoyed. Today, I write romantic suspense for Revell and Love Inspired
