Q: How long have you been writing and what other careers or jobs have you had?
A. I’m a medical technologist by profession and worked in the clinical laboratory after college. My specialty was blood banking. Q: How did you get your start writing fiction and what genre do you predominantly write in?
A: I spent ten wonderful years as a newspaper reporter, then happily became a stay-at-home mom. But while being a mom was fantastic, some part of my mind still itched for writing. I started playing around with a story—a mystery novel because that’s my favorite book to read—and soon after, a forensic geologist named Raleigh Harmon appeared.
