Ronie Kendig exhibits her usual nail – biting, gut – wrenching tension in her action scenes, putting the reader “into” the action as no one else can.

The action is nonstop, the characters heart-breakingly real, and the writing superb. Be sure to set apart a day or two to read the book in a sitting or two.

I could hardly read the chapters fast enough and *had* to find out what was happening next.
