Overall, Placebo was a great read that had some creepiness and suspense, plus some thought-provoking moments.

Wiehl and Henry write suspenseful, well-plotted mysteries without the use of profanity, salty language or off-color details found in other mainstream mystery fiction.

I love how Irene writes suspense novels that keep me at the “edge-of-my-seat” without gratuitous violence or vulgar language. How she weaves romance in the story that doesn’t involve explicit love scenes or things similar in nature.
