Q: What one thing would you like readers to know about you?
A. I’m so thankful that God called me to write, gave me this dream and opened the doors for me. I get to write stories for a living. I get to do something that I love and actually earn money! Ha!
Q: What is the craziest, most risk-taking thing you’ve ever done?
A. I love to write stories featuring thriller-seekers and risk-takers. Stories filled with suspense, drama and adventure. Oops—and don’t forget romance! But I consider myself more of an arm-chair adventurer—traveling the world through the pages of a book. I would never willingly take a risk! I think my life of moving to new places when my husband is given a new assignment is risky enough, thank you very much!
Q: Tell me three things about yourself that would surprise your readers.
A. In all my moves (as mentioned above) I move along with me three sets of china—my own, my mother’s and my grandmothers, as well as four sets of silver!
B. I have a plethora of musical instruments—a piano, cello, violin, and a shofar! None of which I currently play (It has been decades). Maybe one day!
C. I sit in the back row of the church where my husband pastors instead of the front row! I’m more comfortable in the back and also I love to observe.
Q: Would you tell us about your current book release ALWAYS LOOK TWICE and where the idea for this story came from?
A. I already knew the hero, Heath McKade, brother to Austin McKade from book one, Never Let Go (in Uncommon Justice). All I needed was his romantic interest and the premise. A scene came to me—a hunter peering through his rifle scope at his prey, but the prey turned out to be a woman! That was all I needed to then develop the story. Sometimes it happens like that. I’ll add that it isn’t easy coming up with almost 400 pages from one scene. But it worked. Whatever works, right?
