Ironically, one of Julia’s favorite childhood memories is when she had a mild case of the chicken pox. She spent the week off from school perched in the big oak tree in her front yard writing forty short stories for her binder.
Ironically, one of Julia’s favorite childhood memories is when she had a mild case of the chicken pox. She spent the week off from school perched in the big oak tree in her front yard writing forty short stories for her binder. Julia is married to her soul companion and is a homeschooling mom to her two children. As a former assistant librarian, she naturally has a passion for sharing her favorite books. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and is currently writing her first novel. The reason she writes is best expressed by missionary and Olympic runner Eric Liddell, “when I write I feel His pleasure.”
