Q: How did you get your start writing fiction and what genre do you predominantly write in? A: I started writing after being an avid reader from an early age. I loved everything romantic suspense, so when I started writing, I naturally gravitated toward romantic suspense. When I read my first Christian Romantic Suspense, I knew that was where I wanted to focus my writing efforts.
Q: What does your writing space look like? A: Have laptop, will travel comes to mind. My workspace is a portable laptop. I can work at the kitchen table, the living room, outdoors…wherever the mood strikes me. Usually it’s seated in my comfortable recliner with a view of the great outdoors through the French doors. Q: What part of a writing career do you find most difficult? A:. I’d say the most difficult part for me is self-promoting. I’m an introvert at heart so it’s hard for me to put myself out there. But I’m working on that. Q: Would you tell us about your current book release Framed For Murder? A: Framed For Murder is about CIA Agent, Liz Ramirez who is being set up to take the fall for her partner’s death and the guns smuggling operation he was involved in. Liz is banking her freedom as well as her life on finding some evidence that her partner claimed to have left for her in a tiny cabin in the wild Alaskan wilderness. But Liz can’t do it alone. She has to convince her squad leader, Aaron Foster to believe in her enough to go rogue in order to clear her name. In between running from the gun smugglers trying to silence her, and staying one step ahead of her own team members, Liz finds herself falling for her handsome leader. Q: What did you enjoy most about writing this book? Least? A: I loved writing about Liz and Aaron’s heart pounding rush from Colorado to Alaska to find the evidence, as well as the love story growing between the two of them along the way. My least favorite thing was writing. “The End”. Its hard saying goodbye to friends you create. Q: What is the main theme or spiritual message of this book? A: No matter how dark the circumstances are that you’re facing, never give up. With God’s help, you can get through anything. Q: Would you share with us what you are working on now? A. I’m currently working on the final two books in the Scorpion Team series. The first will be out in July of 2018. Q: If you could have dinner with 2 people, who would they be? A. My first choice would always be Jesus. I would love to sit and talk with him. After Jesus, I’d say the disciples and some of the Old Testament saints like Abraham, or King David. So many to choose from. Q: Do you have a favorite hobby? A. I love gardening, but I have to admit, I’m not very good at it. Still, the act of digging in the dirt can be cathartic. Q: What is the most rewarding thing you have ever done? A. I have three granddaughters. They are the most rewarding and blessed thing in my life besides my wonderful husband. |
