Review – Cold Fury

This is book three in the Cold Harbor series, however it is a stand-alone book. There are characters that you meet in all the books so you miss some of the history, but you will understand what is going on. I would recommend you reading them all in order though because they are all great books.

Maggie Turner has a unique job and is as happy as she can be living it. Yet when her handsome ex-boyfriend, Jackson Lockhart, comes smashing into her world, she is not sure she is up to the challenges that will follow.

Jackson Lockhart is a handsome complicated man who works with the Blackwell Tactical team, that the series centers around. When he learns Maggie is in need of protection he is willing to risk everything to help her.

This book is full of mystery, suspense, some twists and turns and of course romance. I love the writing style of Sleeman, she always keeps me interested. Sometimes you think you have it all figured out then something changes. I always look forward to the next book in her series, to catch up with old characters and learn more about new ones.
