Amnesia stole her memory—
a killer wants her dead
When Paige Tatem loses her memory, she knows just two things: she has a target on her back, and police officer Tanner Brody is the only man she trusts to protect her. As they piece together her past, Tanner wonders what lies hidden in Paige’s mind. And as the truth begins to emerge, it becomes clear that a ruthless enemy wants certain secrets to stay buried.
My take:
Fatal Recall started of with a bang!…literally. 😉 The book opens with the MC hearing gunfire, which he first brushes off as someone hunting – until he hears a woman’s scream. That beginning scene grabbed my attention and the suspense was solid throughout the story. I was never bored and finished the book in one day.
I liked the characters. It was intriguing that the heroine had amnesia and they didn’t know her name or anything about her. I love a good amnesia story and think that this one was done well.
A favorite quote: “How many other blessings would he find if he really looked? Instead of abandoning him, had God really been with him the entire time?”
-Fatal Recall
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed Fatal Recall. If you like romantic suspense novels, be sure to check it out. It was a good read.
I’m an avid reader who loves books that keep me glued to the page, anticipating what is going to happen next, and suspense books definitely give me that!
