Talon, while a good read, was not my favorite of Ronie Kendig’s books. I enjoyed the story, but there were times I was left with questions because it wasn’t explained how certain things happened and, at times, things in the story seemed contradictory (at least to me). Don’t get me wrong, the story was still good and held my attention, it just wasn’t a favorite.
I loved, loved, loved the dog Talon! He was so loyal and was definitely a favorite “character” of mine from this book, along with Timbrel (I can’t wait for her book!).
There were some really pulse-pounding moments in Talon, which I absolutely loved! I also thought the romance story was nice and had an unique aspect to it.
Overall, a good read. If you enjoy military books, I think you’ll probably enjoy Talon.
I’m an avid reader who loves books that keep me glued to the page, anticipating what is going to happen next, and suspense books definitely give me that!
