This was an excellent book. The plot was a mixture of small town quaintness, whodunit, and a bit of suspense. The author wove the details together to create a gripping story that I couldn’t put down. The writing style reminded me a lot of Alexander McCall Smith. The story draws you in, the details keep you puzzled, and the characters make you think. I loved how the story was told partially from the homeless people’s point of view, which had a different perspective. The book, while definitely entertaining, also made me think. And that is a plus for me. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book and can’t wait to read the next one.
