My take:
Treacherous Slopes was a fun read. I liked the setting and that the main character was an athlete. The romance was sweet, mainly because the characters knew each other growing up and this was kind of their “second chance”.
The villain was not a surprise, as I saw it coming, but it was still good. I can’t believe all the things he/she tried to do to harm him!
All in all, a good read. It wasn’t that gripping of a story, but I did still like the book.
I’m an avid reader who loves books that keep me glued to the page, anticipating what is going to happen next, and suspense books definitely give me that!
