There is a slight mystery (with no dead bodies, if you are screamish), a tiny bit of oh-no-what-will-happen-next, plenty of delicious sounding cookie recipes you'll surely want to make for Christmas, well mixed with a lot of holiday happiness and a fledgling romance.  Not a single drop of bah-humbug included.
