Review – Explosive Alliance

This is the second book in the First Responders series. It can be read as a stand alone book, however you will learn more about the personalities of the sub-characters in this novel if you read the first one, Silent Night Standoff, first plus it is a great read too. (susansleeman.com/books/first-responders/) Krista Curry has been running from her past for 4 years. Will she ever be able to trust her heart to another man? When she is thrust into constant protection can she trust these police any better than the ones from 4 years ago. Cash Dixon almost seems to good to be true, what is it he is hiding? Will life continually get into the way or will the truth finally come out and peace finally take root? Cash Dixon feels he can not get involved with anyone till he makes peace with his past. When he is drawn to Krista he is not sure what to make of all the secrets she is hiding. And what about all this evidence. Can he protect her and his heart? Will he ever have peace again? I love the mystery, romance, troubles and lessons learned throughout this novel. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys good, clean, contemporary, high octane, mystery and Christian Romance.
