There were times in the story that I felt things didn’t flow that well, at least to me, and I think part of that was due to some chapters having a lot of breaks/scene changes. Also, there were times the detectives’ actions felt unrealistic to me.
For the most part, I really liked the medical aspect to Critical Condition and it was great how both of the main characters were doctors. The romance story was good, because I wasn’t sure what was going to happen in the end.
Overall, I liked Critical Condition. It was an enjoyable read and, if you like mysteries with some medical aspects, you might enjoy this book.
I’m an avid reader who loves books that keep me glued to the page, anticipating what is going to happen next, and suspense books definitely give me that!
