Review – Murder Simply Brewed
Reviewed by Melanie De Jong
I enjoyed the romance story and main characters, but overall it was just okay.
Murder Simply Brewed is the first book I’ve read by Vannetta Chapman, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m not a huge fan of Amish Fiction (though I have loved certain books) and that is probably one of the reasons I didn’t love this book. The plot just seemed really basic and kind of bored me. There were things that I enjoyed, like the romance story and main characters, but overall it was just okay.
I’ve read many glowing reviews for this book, so if you enjoy simpler reads, you might enjoy Murder Simply Brewed. This just wasn’t a book for me. I have a copy of book two, so I’ll be reading that and I’m hoping that book will be a more enjoyable read to me.
