Review – Pointe and Shoot

This is a ‘new to me’ author. Alison Stone does a good job in developing her characters and describing her surroundings. I enjoyed the mystery and romance woven in this novel. This is not an on the edge of your seat suspense yet it is full of mystery and some suspense.

Jayne Murphy is a loving daughter who has put her dreams on the back burner to care for her mother, who has Alzheimer’s. When a dear friend dies, she doesn’t feel like it is an accident. Will she be able to find what actually happened or is she putting her life and those she loves in danger?

Officer Danny Nolan is a by the book kind of guy. With a past that connects himself to the Murphy family will he be able to forgive himself and be the help Jayne needs or was the accident, just that?

This novel is full of mystery, dance, family, forgiveness and much more. I look forward to reading more from this author. You may or may not solve the mystery before it is revealed and you may guess more than one ending. It will keep you reading to the very end.
