Review – Undercover Protector

Undercover Protector by Elizabeth Goddard is a wonderful romantic suspense story that will keep you up reading late at night as you can’t put it down. It’s filled with action, adventure, suspense, and romance. Goddard immediately brings you into the story and keeps you off guard with terrifying incidents. You have to keep reading to the end, not only to find out what happens with the characters, but what happens to the tigers, too.

The book features Grayson Wilde, who is a Special Agent for the US Fish and Wildlife Service and Gemma Rollins owner of a wildlife sanctuary. Grayson’s investigation into animal trafficking brings him to the sanctuary, and from there, we learn all about this fascinating issue. It’s immediately clear that Goddard did her research on this subject, and through her skillful writing, I am much better informed on the issue, all the while being entertained by a riveting plot. And of course, the budding romance between Grayson and Gemma.

If you have not read one of Goddard’s romantic suspense novels, I suggest you pick one up. You can start with Undercover Protector, or begin with Targeted For Murder, the first book in her Wilderness Inc. series, which is equally as wonderful. Either way, with a Goddard book, you can’t go wrong and won’t be disappointed.
