Tanner Shaw has joined the FBI as a crisis counselor . . . meaning she now has more opportunity to butt heads with Declan. But that tension also includes a spark she can’t deny, and she’s pretty sure Declan feels the same. But before anything can develop between them, they discover evidence of a terror cell–and soon are in a race against the clock to stop the coming “wrath” that could cost thousands their lives.
My thoughts: I fell in love with Dani Pettrey’s suspense with her Alaskan series. This newest series is set in Baltimore (well, sort of, these agents do travel) and while they do stand alone, fans won’t want to miss the first two books, Cold Shot and Still Life. I am anxiously awaiting the fourth book in this series coming in 2018.
BLIND SPOT is an action-packed suspense that starts with a bang and doesn’t stop. Three different cases merge into the pages of this book, making it impossible to put down (unless life makes you).
I didn’t think Tanner or Declan would be characters I could relate to, because they are both like super-heroes of sorts. But Ms. Pettrey created them surprisingly real, making them characters I could care for and root for.
For the screamish readers, there are dead bodies. Lots of them. Some rather gruesome scenes and scenarios. But it wasn’t creepy.
A great book, definitely worth five stars. I can’t wait to read Luke’s story coming in 2018
