The sound of Ethan’s warm, familiar voice engulfed the young woman with feelings she never expected to feel again. Ethan was the “man Jennie walked out on ten years ago.”
She didn’t want to go through those painful times again and now could only whisper softly into her cell phone from the moving train, “He’s after me, Ethan.”
