AUTHOR LYNETTE EASON
Q: What one thing would you like readers to know about you?
A: One thing. Um…lol…I know American Sign Language and I love to hang out with the deaf. 🙂
Q: What is the craziest, most risk-taking thing you’ve ever done?
A: I am so NOT a risk-taker so this is a hard one! I guess I feel like I’m being a risk-taker every time I sign another multi-book contract. LOL. Seriously.
Q: Tell me three things about yourself that would surprise your readers.
A: I’m very hard-of-hearing and read lips most of the time. I prefer the mountain
s over the beach, but find myself at the beach more often than the mountains. I love theme parks, but don’t ride rides.
Q: What is the number one item on your bucket list?
A:Â To meet Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire one day. I love them. Ha!
Q: Would you tell us about your current book release Moving Target and where the idea for this story came from?
A: Moving Target is book 3 in the Elite Guardians series. I got the idea when I was helping my son with a school project. He had to read The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell and I started playing the “what if’ game. Moving Target is the result. 🙂

I am going deaf (genetics) and read lips a little. Am trying to teach myself sign language, but it’s not easy.
The give-away instructions call the book “Undercover Protecter”, but the image and link is for “Moving Target”. Hope I put the correct info in the spaces.
Lynette Eason says
No, it’s not easy to learn, but if you keep practicing and can find someone to sign with, it makes it a bit easier. Try this website: http://www.lifeprint.com. Lots of great help on there!
Charlyn says
I was thinking the same thing as Time about “Undercover Protector” and “Moving Target” and hoping I have the right link. can we edit our entry if it should be a link for Undercover Protector?
H L (Harry) Wegley says
Moving Target sounds a little Stephen King-ish with some romance added. That would make a great read.

Excellent interview. My husband is deaf in one ear and has some hearing in the other ear. He can read lips some. He never learned to sign. Keep up the wonderful writing.
